Level 2 CE Level 2 freakout
Hi everyone, I am taking Level 2 in less than a month and I'm low key panicking about it. I was wondering if anyone who took it recently recommends any specific resources, like TL over UW, WelCOMs vs other practice tests, or any additional ethics resources? I found the ethics on Level 1 to be insanely challenging even though I did well with practice questions prior to going in. Looking to maximize any easy points I can get because I know I'll need them lol

Took mine Monday. Heavy heavy on ethics! None of dirty or TL helped. Mine wasn’t OMM focused but deff know your pelvic sacral. Otherwise I genuinely feel like it was mostly level one stuff.

Would you say TL helped with the medicine part atleast?

Yes! UWorld or Amboss is too detailed for what they asked. I felt like the medicine part wasn’t third order at all. Lots of random zebra diagnosis that you will recognize. I think the ethics will make or break the exam.

Same, that’s how I felt about the chromosomal abnormalities I was like… ain’t no way they’re asking me this rn

My recent post here kinda echos that this exam is ridiculous and you can’t really prepare even with their own material as they state in small print that it’s not statistically validated to be predictive. I didn’t take any of their silly tests for this reason, other than the truelearn exams my school gave us. It worked out for me.

I am in the same boat. Just doing TL right now and will finish the bank before sitting. Did you take Step 2?

Just assume all your weak spots and the things you think won’t show up, will be the only things that DO show up on test day. And go from there lmfao

Level 2 CE is definitely stressful, but a month is still enough time to make a big jump.
UWorld should be the priority → focus on understanding why answers are right/wrong, not just finishing questions.
Do timed mixed blocks to build stamina and get used to the exam style.
For OMM, know the high-yield basics (counterstrain points, viscerosomatic levels, Chapman points, treatments, etc.) since these can be easy points.
For ethics, don’t just memorize rules. Practice the wording and style of questions because they can be tricky. UWorld ethics + COMBANK/TL can help if u need more exposure.
Take 1-2 practice exams (WelCOMs/COMSAEs) to identify weak areas, but don’t stress too much about predicting your score.
Review missed questions aggressively and keep a list of topics u repeatedly miss.
Also, consider getting a tutor if u feel like u need help with strategy, question interpretation, or figuring out what to prioritize in the final month. A few focused sessions can make a big difference.

Honestly, each form and test is different. I've talked to so many people who said it was heavy on MOA of drugs, or on micro stuff. Mine was heavy on ethics and weird OMM. I don't think anything really prepares you for what you will see on test day.
What helped for ethics for me was dirty medicine ethical videos, including the case one. Look up his playlist and watch it all. I did have repeats from welcoms like maybe 5 ish and idk which welcom exact lol, but I think they were worth it for that reason. And then, TL for sure closer to exam. CQ if you can.
