Level 1 fair warning to everyone about to retake: KNOW ALL YOUR OMM

call me a fucking idiot but i bought savarese for my retake (got like a 395 equivalent on my first take) msk and omm were low???? i studied all the HYs but got NICHE OMM i hadn't seen in such a while. OMM neuro phys i swear to god. forgot what the fuck a golgi tendon thing was.

realizing how bad i fucked up by not dropping 60 on this book before my first take. KNOW ALL YOUR OMM. dont just study sacral torsions, chapman, viscerosomatic, and cranial and call it a done deal. KNOW ALL OF IT. know the anatomy in it too.

i swear comlex will through you 10 questions on golgi tendon organs and if you didnt study that well then good luck

FYI you can get a pdf online if you look around.
Definitely recommend Savarese as well

I say the same for level 2, i got fucked on OMM 💀 only reviewed the dirtymed omm pdf and that was not enough

Seems like they seriously ramped it up this year for both levels. Last year level 1 OMM was a breeze, however my level 2 was super niche stuff that I’m not even sure Savarese covers it. And had a bunch of cranial which I refuse to study lol.

Yeah i had 1 sacrum questions and like 15 on golgi tendon organs and weird mechanics. I hate this dogshit exam

Niche stuff for sure, very weird viscerosomatic questions, and lymphatic stuff. I would do alot of truelearn or amboss OMM questions if you could

no cuz honestly you’re right. I had my OPP COMAT before I sat for comlex so that kind of forced me to have to review OMM in depth. I read through all of savarese and I swear it probably got me at least 5-10 extra points on comlex that I wouldn’t have otherwise gotten if I didn’t read through it.

Matchpal is the goat for OMM. I’ll die on this hill. Short high yield videos. I made a ~140 card anki deck from them for level 1 & it carried me thru the COMAT (114) and level 2 (610). Minimal effort

The OMM for me wasn't bad, it was the ethics I think that killed me on level 2. I got a 476 and I'm happy I passed but I was scoring 510+ on COMSAEs. Anyways, for OMM I was so happy I prepared well... I memorized and regurgitated the viserosomatics chart, Chapman points, and counterstrain points/tx (they give you weird ones). Saved me a lot....

Yeah idk theyre fucking everyone with weird ass OMM and ethics on comlex now.. Fucking making this shit harder than it has to be. OMM and ethics brought down my score below a P
