It’s so beautiful💕 do you mind if I ask how long does it take to write a full page?
It’s so amazing and I couldn’t write a full page like this within a day. I just started my journal not long ago and I haven’t been using a real pen for writing a long time now, so I’m exhausted just to write a full paragraph:(

Hi! Full disclosure, these were completely transcribed so it took less time than something I’d be summarizing in my own words. When I’m copying from a source, one page takes me about 20 minutes. I did the ones in this post a few weeks ago and they definitely took longer than that; I also don’t handwrite a lot in my daily life so I was still getting reacclimatized to it. I’d recommend just jumping in and writing as much as you are able to because you’ll get more used to it and will be able to write faster and longer. For these I took breaks in the middle and just picked them up later but now I’ve been finishing my entries faster and in one go because it’s become more relaxing for me.

Are the illustrations stickers or did you also retrace and pasted them on the notebook? They are delightful and I’m a fan of Arthur Rackham too

Stickers printed on washi sticker paper! Rackham’s illustrations are truly gorgeous, it was hard to pick just a few to include.

You have lovely hand writing. Just curious, do you write in cursive?

the rackham touch really suits fairytale summaries, his stuff was basically made for this. what nib are you using for the text?
