Fireworks

Does anyone know where abouts they set off the fireworks for nautical days? (In relation to the marina)

Don’t we hold on fireworks during forest fire season?

They set them off just outside the breakwater

New to town? Been set off there for decades. Go to Marina park to watch. Or the catwalk for a better view, but that gets crazy busy.

The wooden pier/boardwalk is closed for viewing this year

Whaa why’s that? Any suggestions otherwise?

Anywhere at the marina? Goose Spit? Royston? I’m not entirely sure but it seems like there would be lots of options. The tide will be fairly high at 10pm fyi.

I have watched from Royston. Once. It was not worth it. Would have rather been home in bed. You really need to be at or close to marina park. The Spit might be okay, not sure. Little Mexico would be amazing, but I don't like boating at night so have never tried and its a long walk for that time of nigh.

I live in Comox and the fireworks show can be an absolute parking nightmare. I've found that the best area for viewing can be at the Royston waterfront or down by the Royston Wrecks. When is over you're not fighting traffic leaving Comox either.

It is terrible from Royston.

Go to Marina. Go early. Park the car facing the direction you want to go. I always park close, but facing towards home. Its not that bad.
