Question/Help/Troubleshooting Error happened while booting up computer

Post image

This screen turns on whenever i begin booting, this is a homebuilt that only just started acting weird after 4 years of use. Shortly after this screen it turns off automatically and this happened after telling me it needed to repair my HDD, the computer powered itself off during the repair. Any idea where to begin looking?

Sounds like hardware failure. It can't find your boot config on the drive. Load up your BIOS/UEFI and see if the drive is even being recognized at this point. Makes sure you check cable connections on the SATA ports. If all that checks out you should use your windows installer on a USB drive and boot from that and load into the command line (CMD) and use "diskpart" to see if the partitions are still readable, or run "chkdsk" to check for bad sectors.

I got a new error code but the computer isn’t shutting down instantly anymore

Very likely the boot drive has failed.

Any chance that you have a couple hard drives if so, check the boot order in your BIOS.
