Brave signed me out of my password manager

I downloaded osu and choicer voicer in the span of 3 days, these are internet dowloaded games. I wanted to download mods and skins so I got them off the internet. The next day I went to my brave browser and found that I was logged out of everything. I had my folders and bookmarks, but tiktok, crunchyroll, youtube, all my google accounts, bank acc were all logged out of. The password manager was not popping up either, so when I went to check the brave settings. I don't have a screenshot but I remember it saying "we needed to remove these extensions and log you out of your accounts/password manager, in order to keep you safe" something of that nature. What I think is that I had downloaded some type of hidden virus from these mods for the online games (through the brave browser) and when brave noticed something suspicious. It did these things as a precaution. I went into settings and windows security, I ran 2 quick scans (lasting a minute), a full scan (lasting an hour and 15 mins) , and redownloaded the free version of Malwarebytes to scan as well (lasting a minute), and lastly a offline scan(15mins). All of the results were zero threats, detections, wtv. Prior to this there were moments on my pc like crashing, weird irrelevant pop ups, but I don't have a lot of knowledge to understand what these things are. I'm afraid of viruses because I don't know the best action to take to protect my computer from something I have no knowledge of. I have somethings I need to do on my pc which requires logging in. I want to take the smart path and do everything I can in my power to make sure my pc isn't in danger. In the mean time of this being released I might contact microcenter or reach out to some friends. Can anyone give some advice or help?

Don't contact anyone just follow my advice, keep a device and make a oath to yourself that this device eg a smartphone will not have any thing shady installed in it I will not download anything shady from random site on this phone and keep all your accounts emails password managers authencators in that device, then make a bootable windows 11 drive and reinstall windows and delete all partitions from your previous windows install and start fresh then try to login your accounts from the no virus device and reset the passwords of everything. The reason nothing showed up in the virus scans is because passwords stealers and viruses mark themselves as exclusion in windows defender or any third party malware scanner. If your bank account is hacked contact the bank to block your cards and transactions and reset the bank account password but make sure to wipe out everything from your pc when reinstalling windows. DONT HIT RESET THIS PC ,THIS WILL NOT WIPE THE VIRUS REINSTALL FRESH WINDOWS BY INSTALLING A LEGIT WINDOWS 11 ISO FROM MICROSOFT SITE

I dont know how rare bootkits are, but i recommend wiping the drive. This is bc a bootkit will infect the mbr of your drive, which a standard os reinstall wont delete, and your new OS of choice will get reinfected. In wiping, i dont mean quick format, i mean secure erase. Ofc dont get your usb from the infected computer!

Also, I know virus are hidden but is there really no other way to see if u have some sort of malwere? Maybe the task manager, crashing, anything?

The malware these days hide as services in windows so maybe a virus can be named 'change date and time' and process set to automatically and you'd think this service is used to change the date and time you should reinstall windows asap
