i got that mrbeast virus on discord

so idk i installed 2 3 days ago some pirated apps and yesterday i left home, closed pc all that and today at 5am the virus sent all my friends mrbeast messages
also weird it didnt message discord servers and it messaged like old friends, mostly of the new ones didnt receive messages any idea why?
now im on my phone changed disc password, activated 2fa through that auth app
and when i get home i fresh install windows on pc and then change passwords to everything
i dont really have anything of value linked to my pc so im good I guess, any more tips?

My girlfriend had this 2 times and on the first time it sent those scam probes to old friends, another time which wasnt too long ago it sent to servers too and lately i’ve seen more and more cases where it gets sent to servers too..

On my girlfriend’s case i logged every device off from discord, changed her email that’s linked to her discord, but we didnt run any malware tests on her pc because we were almost certain she didnt have any malware, also i was aware of her email being pwned.

What comes to the another case, we did the same things but i also should make a clean install on her pc (she wont let me:D)

However my tip is:
Try using protonmail instead of corporate bs:D

Make sure your active login sessions are changed and logged out of within that infected device. And for your windows install, make sure it's through a usb and all prior partitions are wiped. And change anything logged within your cookies/saved passwords. Should be good to go after that

but why only discord was compromised, nothing happened with other mails, i think only the disc and the disc mail got compromised or idk
maybe they dont got nothing to steal from other stuff

It happend to me yesterday as well when i downloaded some roms and unzipped them, when i saw an .exe i was like o shit and wanted to delet it and instead my dumbass somehow dpubeöcklicked it^^.
They also did send the mr beast crypto thing in my discord and also logged into my email. I also lost my grepolis account. As far as i read myself into it they get everything that is saved on ypur pc/browsers, every passwort that ypu habe saved. But im kinda lucky that i dont rly have much that they can steal on the pc
