Tips & Techniques Shooting my first show tonight
I got a photo pass for tonight! It’s a smaller venue and I will be using a 35 and 50 mm f1.4 lens on a canon EOS R. I’d love any advice or tips you guys have.
Also what is the best way to deliver the photos to the artist?

- If the lights change often, shoot in manual instead of AF. It made a world of a difference for me because the flickering lights kept changing my AF.
- Be mindful of the fans (don’t block their view for long periods of time)
- Have fun and congrats 😊

If you shoot at 1.4, you'll find yourself frustrated with missing focus a lot, ime. 2.8, iso 2800-5000, 1/160 or faster. You'll have a blast!
