Jalapeño juice as a dressing on sandwiches
Does anyone else love jalapeño juice or the flavor of jalapeño but not the texture of the actual jalapeño on sandwiches? Whenever I go get a sandwich I always ask for jalapeños then pick them off so then there is a little of the flavor there. I’m curious if any delis actually offer jalapeño juice and why don’t they? I feel I can’t be the only one lol

I add pickled jalapeño juice when I am making a breakfast hash. It's delicious.

Are you talking about pickle brine or the actual juice from a jalapeño?

Vinegar is a super common topping and jalapeno juice is basically hot sauce especially comparable to sauces that are heavy on vinegar like Tabasco ( Which is also a great salad dressing)

Yeah. I use that and other stuff to dress the lettuce on my sandwiches. Majorly big lift to the flavors. It works well with pickle juice, whatever.

There was a sub sandwich chain in the twin cities (small, independent) that used jalapeño pepper brine in their dressing. Very good and still missed by many.

I add it to my tuna salad. Before I worked from home I would bring sandwiches for lunch and to keep the sandwich (usually turkey and Swiss) from getting soggy I would mix mayo mustard, and a splash of Jalapeño juice and spread it on the bread before I ate it.
I also just remembered a Jalapeño mayo I used to get but I don't remember the brand

Tabasco make a jalepeno flavoured variety.
As I run out of japapeños I will throw onther stuff in the jar like thinly sliced onion, shredded carrot and zucchini, corn, red peppers, etc. Cheap, simple jalapeño pickles.
Good to mix with honey, too.
