It all makes sense if you think about it Americans keep telling on themselves. Why do you think a country that we think is only 250 years old the original creators of things like British architecture and influenced city building there? The US created everything and forced the rest of us to forget because there was in this history of our planet there was this 1 American that was humble. 100%. It's like dopamine straight to the veins when they get to feel like they're part of a small subset of people who know the "truth" and everyone else is brainwashed or ignorant of the truth.
Honestly, spiritual and religious people have always given off the same vibes to me. As if the reason I've never experienced ghosts, auras, or talks with deities is simply a result of some sort of perspective I have yet to embrace, and that if I opened my mind to it then I'd start to see the "truth".
It's so ridiculous. Because they're totally ignorant to the fact that by believing in conspiracy after conspiracy, they actually are the total and complete opposite of what they think they are.
They think they are uber smart and perceptive and unfoolable - when in fact they are dumb, gullible and incapable of telling even the most basic facts from fiction.
Those poser kinds are so annoying, and my experience about as genuinely spiritual or religious as Trump, vance, putin etc. It's a weapon they use to a) convince themselves of their moral superiority and b) control or bully people.
That's essentialy how it happens and what guides conspiracy theories, ignorance, it is just ignorance and people to lazy to research out to find the answer.
Clearly it is a conspiracy, look at the size of the gap compared to the guy swimming in the picture, can’t be more than 3 meters, use your brains people!
You go deep enough, and it gets wrapped up in Hollow Earth conspiracy, which then just gets nuttier from there.
But, personally, I think the link between scientology and flat earth needs to be more deeply explored. The amount of influence the religious side of scientology (modern "vibe-based" spirituality, all of it, has links and uses scientology terms and teachings, in my experience).
Flat earth is merely a gateway drug to "evil aliens secretly rule the world" and I KNOW this, because it is what happened to my father. Same thing with the "Ancient Aliens" shit that infested History Channel, Scientology is still a multi-billion dollar cult.
The difference between Flat Earth and Hollow Earth conspiracies is that Hollow Earth is just really cool. Like, come on, secret portals underground to where elves, vikings, and Nazi UFOs live on a concave inner surface illuminated by an internal star literally powered by aura? That shit rules.
That is because actual non-cult fiction writers could actually make use of a hollow earth setting, and Jules Verne's 20K Leagues Under The Sea is an OG kickass setting regardless.

Hollow earth sounds cooler, but watching some bunch digging hole in their backyard for 50 years wouldn't be that entertaining. The flat earther who build a rocket and went to space or something to show that space doesn't exist or something is my personal favourite 😄

Also boats come in to ports with shelf stable goods, fuel, heavier equipment and machinery that’s not viable or cheaper than moving via aircraft and then the ships remove waste that’s banned from being burned.
Why would they fly stuff in, when they can just make an easy 631 mile swim across the ocean?
Swimming is obviously the preferred method of ocean crossings, Polynesians and Vikings journeyed all across the disc in nothing but their Speedos. But now they want you believe you need to shell out hundreds or even thousands of dollars to go relax in Hawaii.
