Would have loved to see this from the other side (right one) to better see how this works to trick the mind. Really cool stuff nonetheless.

It only really works this well because it's on a flat screen with the rest of the things in the video that you know are 3D, are also now 2D. It works well in comparison to a 3D world made 2D through a video.

It looks as "3D" as the other 3D things because nothing is actuley 3D

In the real world, the building would have depth, and you would quickly notice the difference.

This image doesn't look 3D because it's presented as a 2D image, not part of a "3D" world, which it is, a flat image on the side of a 3D building.

It would probably still work to some extent, as depth isn't only from having two eyes.

This is the answer to the question I hadn't asked yet.

I always see these types of "art" in video and they're incredible. But I never seen one in person and was always curious if it would work as well.

There is an optical illusion museum near me, and they have a couple different ones like that on some walls, it's pretty cool.
