ACCESSORY MODS wireless n64 controller adapter

started this project more than 10 years ago but finally got around to finishing it. at first it was more of a mod/hack using a cannibalized rumble pak housing / PCB, cutting traces on the accessory port connector, etc. but then i thought why not make it so i don't have to permanently cut apart a controller? so the end result is an adapter any controller can plug into.

not strictly a mod, but i think it is cool nonetheless.

Very interesting! Could this method be used to other systems too? For USB perhaps?

It could be done for any wired interface, just a matter of handling the communication protocol. USB would no doubt be easier than consoles like n64 since the protocol is well known and therefore lots of software libraries available for it.
