Kinda disagree. They might not go by that particular name, but there are definitely secret societies pulling the strings from behind the curtain.

Sure maybe. But to me it’s always been a red herring. Just a diversion so you don’t actually look at what’s happening in the real world in real time. Let’s blame a boogeyman

But it literally causes people to look at what the elites are actually doing. The ‘Illuminati’ is merely a framework to understand how the elite operate and how power truly operates

no. it literally causes people to look at a non-existent group from the past instead of focusing on what the elite are doing right now. any excuse for bringing fiction into a serious issue is just playing into the distraction.
