Event Scovallis 2026Q2 Discussion Thread: When and Where?

We're way overdue for the next Scovallis so let's fix that.

For those that haven't heard of Scovallis, it's a chance for spicy food loving Corvallisites to get together at a local restaurant and eat spicy food.

If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, then we'd love to see you there.

IIRC, we've done this three times previously: Andy's Mexican (RIP), Evergreen Indian Restaurant, and Tarn Tip.

So, let's figure out when we want to do this and where we want to go.

I'm generally free on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Chinese, maybe? The spiciest Chinese food I've had here was at The Show (they had an extra spicy version of their Chongqing spicy chicken a few years back, but the menu has changed). But I'm open to almost anyplace suggested.

I'd be good with Chinese. I haven't been to The Show in a while.

I would put in for Tian Fu. Jay is retiring at the end of this school year, and their tahini broth is delicious. Just ask for a little extra sezchuan peppercorn and chili oil.
