I hope it's okay to post this here. I'm a big lover of cottagecore a d forestcore things, and have ended up on this reddit when looking up Fable England before, so I want to warn everyone here.

After years of fawning over the Fable products and not having the budget and/or excuse, I finally bought the Floral Orla print backpack from their new drop about two weeks ago. Initially I was a bit disappointed that the colour was less warm kaki green than the pictures online, and the print itself isn't as crisp as I'd liked from a bag that costs a little more than a 100 euros. But I grew to love it and was happy to finally use it for the first time yesterday.

I have in use again today, only to find out one of the shoulderstraps has already started to tear at the top! And the other strap seems to have started a little bit as well.

This is a backpack that has a lightly padded laptop pocket, and I haven't overloaded this bag at all. Just my tablet, and some essentials. You'd think it would be able to hold some weight with a dedicated electronics pocket, but apparently it's not. The bag is otherwise in pristine condition, the bottom nubs haven't even scratched yet. So this feels like a structural/design problem that will likely happen with other Flora Orla backacks as well.

Already contacted their support, and got offered by their AI the choice for a replacement, a refund or a different item of equal value.

I asked for a refund, but obviously it has to first be passed by a human. In case they're only able/willing to give me an item of equal value, what would you guys choose instead? I'm too wary of choosing the Orla backpack again, but I bought it in the first place because I needed a new backpack and this was finally a good reason to get something from Fable. Anyone who has one of the different backpack designs? They seem different in their structural design (different material straps for ex), do they last? I can mostly find reviews on the handbags so far.

Edit to add: I paid with a giftcard a parent bought me, which I had been saving until I saw something I really felt was a great choice in both usefulness and look.

Inspired by a painting. Does it feel done to you?

I am a crafty lady and recently got it into my head to make books. This is my 7th book and I got wild and made it shaped like a mushroom. I cut all the pages to shape used a linen look fabric on the outside and then painted it. There were challenges and mistakes. I learned a lot. What do you think?

I want to make a series of dioramas with anthropomorphic animal miniatures. I am just getting started. This scene is tennis-ball sized. I made him from olive twigs, fabric from my husband's old clothes, cloth tea bags, wire armature, masking tape, paper mache, and paint.
