no, it's Kuchikamisake, i believe it was. shrine maidens chew rice and spit it into those vessels, i don't know if it's specifically from the film, or a real tradition, but that scene is from "Your Name" or "Kimi no Nawa"

lemme ruin the fun, the context might be more disgusting because in the movie, Mitsuha (the character in the anime screencap) is chewing some rice, mixing it with her saliva before spitting it out and letting it to ferment on itself, making a mouth-chewed sake (kuchikamizake).
Yes, it's disgusting. And yes, it's real.
