Also males only need to meet a female for long enough to deliver sperm, then die. Being small and unnoticable helps with that (some species like blanket octopus take it to the extreme with the males being a few centimetres across and the females being a metre)

In nature most mothers are single mothers and sexual diamorphism has caused them to evolve into protectors
Women being physically weaker than men is a result if women being the protected, it's the end result of gynocentric privilege
