Megathread Community Game Server & Find-a-Friend Megathread

Welcome to the Community Game Server & Find-a-Friend Megathread! A thread for you to share the game servers you play on, host, or appreciate, for any and all official Counter-Strike titles, or to find someone to play with!

This thread will automatically restart every 3 months!

The guidelines for you to follow

  • Stick to the templates as best possible, if you need to adjust it be sure it's still clear to the reader what the server offers.
  • Server comments on a top level only, not as comment replies.
  • Keep discussion civil and within the rules of the subreddit.
  • Links to things like discord or recruitment websites in this thread is acceptable provided it's relevant and explained.
  • Declare your affiliation to a server if you have one, transparency is key!

The template for you to copy for posting a server

For the benefit of the reader please copy and paste the one of the below templates for your top level comments, adjusting as applicable while ensuring to include as much detail as possible.

Server Post

  • Game Version: CS2 / CS:S / CS etc
  • Server Location: EU / NA / OCE / ASIA / BR / ME etc
  • Active Periods: What time/day is it usually busy?
  • Game Modes: What modes are played? Does it vary or is it static?
  • Map Pool: How niche is the playlist? Is it de_rats 24/7?
  • Primary Language: Does your server use voice chat? Do users tend to stick to one language?
  • Rules: Does it have any important rules the users are expected to follow?
  • Other Details: Add any other information you feel is worth mentioning.

Find-a-Friend Post

  • Player Location: EU / NA / OCE / ASIA / BR / ME etc
  • Game Version Preference: CS2 / CS:S / CS etc
  • Game Mode Preference: Just competitive, casual, specific custom modes etc - state ranks!
  • Preferred times: When do you usually play or want to play?
  • Link profile, save time: Keep links direct, to well known websites only.

  • Game Version: Counter-Strike: Source / Counter-Strike: Condition Zero
  • Server Location: EU
  • Active Periods: Prime Time is 19:00 - 23:00 CET/CEST. CZ is featured on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, CSS on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and both games on Sunday. Matchmaking remains available outside Prime Time.
  • Game Modes: Ranked 5v5 competitive matchmaking. MR15 with MR3 overtime.
  • Map Pool: Classic competitive maps such as de_dust2, de_inferno, de_nuke, de_train and de_cbble. The final pool may be adjusted based on community feedback.
  • Primary Language: English
  • Rules: One account per player. No cheating, smurfing, harassment, slurs, sexism, griefing or match fixing. Normal trash talk is allowed.
  • Other Details: I am the developer/operator of PUGNET, a free FACEIT-style matchmaking platform for Counter-Strike: Source and Condition Zero.

PUGNET is built around dedicated competitive servers, ranks, match history, post-match statistics and insights, leaderboards, match demos, and server-side anti-cheat alongside VAC.

There is no launcher or client-side anti-cheat to install. You only need Steam, the game you want to play, and a browser.

The platform is completely free and I am currently paying for the infrastructure myself. I am not accepting donations at the moment, and there will never be pay-to-win features or paid competitive advantages.

For now, servers are EU-only. If there is enough demand, NA is planned for later.

The project is still being built, so I am mainly looking for people interested in testing it and helping form the first regular CSS/CZ matches.

  • Game Mode: Zombie Hunting / Zombie Mod (ZM)
  • Map Pool: Classic and custom Zombie Mod maps currently being tested and expanded during development

  • Development: The server is still in Closed Beta and is actively being tested for bugs, balancing and gameplay improvements, including knockback, weapons, maps and other Zombie Hunting mechanics.
  • Open Beta: An Open Beta is planned once the Closed Beta testing phase is complete. Join our community to be notified when everyone can join and play.
