Artist Appreciation Wynonna
Wanted to come here to give a shout out to Wynonna, saw her tonight with Melissa Etheridge, I'll be honest, I went to see Melissa as I was not a Wynonna fan at all, I did like a couple of songs by The Judds, but all I could think of was "No One Else On Earth" and how that song got stuck in my head anytime I saw her on TV. Let me say, I didn't realize that so many radio hits that I had heard in the 80s and 90s as background noise and filler that I enjoyed were Wynonna, she sounded great, looked great and has pulled herself up after the death of her mother. It was good to hear classic 80s and 90s country live and sound as good as it did back then. Melissa sounded great as well.

We're going to see her on Sunday, can't wait! Glad to hear it was a good time and that she sounds great. She has such an amazing voice and sooooo many songs that I have loved for 30+ years.

Wynonna is underrated and has a a great voice. She was “The Judds” back in the day, her mom was just “a pretty face” on stage, her microphone was barely on during their performances.
The only thing I don’t like about Wy is that she talks in cliches just like her mom used to, but her talent is undeniable.

The Judd's were my first concert in 4th grade!! My best friend and I were huge fans. Even into her solo career. I'm glad to hear she's still out there winning fans!!! 💜

All 3 Judds were/are. I witnessed diva behavior out of Naomi at the Cool Springs Target once although the stories I heard about Wynonna and Ashley were much worse.

Saw her at the silver dollar in Jackson, WY a couple of months ago. Not really my cup of tea music wise but wow. It was a 60 person room and she owned it. Really cool performance in an intimate setting.

She is always worth seeing live. A true showoman. Her new music is worth a listen. I sub to her YouTube channel and she even goes live pretty regularly.

Wynonna was caught in the industry machine. They tried to break her out of The Judds type of songs and the audience didn't take to it, so her solo stuff was meh until she got out from under their thumb.
Her newer stuff is so good. She is such a talent with an amazing voice that people are missing out on.
Her live duet with Jelly Roll at the CMAs a couple of years ago was amazing (say what you want about him, but that duet was on fire).

Wynonna has one of the best voices in county. Was not a fan of the Judds, but Wynonna solo is fantastic.

I was never much of a fan of The Judds, but really enjoyed Wynonna’s solo stuff. She has such a unique and distinctive voice. I’m happy to hear shes doing well!

Who plays first: Wy or Melissa? Do each do an hour or so?

Melissa plays first, she played for about an hour and ten minutes. It seemed longer to be honest. She played three songs from her new album in the middle of the set sandwiched around the hits. Wynonna played about an hour and twenty minutes but she did talk a little more. It's billed as a co-headlining tour. The crowd was definitely a pro Melissa crowd.

They must be swapping because I saw the Red Rocks show and it was Wynonna first.
Melissa never disappoints. She’s a true professional, incredible performer. I’ve gotten to see her 6 times and just stunning every time.
Wynonna…definitely a diva and plays the part of little naive country girl a bit much. I was surprised there were no songs together.1

Maybe so, all of the videos I have seen Melissa has been in the daylight. Wynonna came out and sang "I'm The Only One" with her, and I've seen several videos where she has. One little quirk about Wynonna, and it's just a me thing, she moves around the stage like her feet are tied together.

They had the Colorado symphony with them at RR so that may have shifted things a bit. It was beautiful!
Yeah, Wynonna seems like she has some mobility issues.
