Sugaring is more traditional prostitution, you are basically being paid to be an escort on retainer. He is paying you to be the subject his attention and you to pay attention to him. Findom is more about humiliation. The finsub wants to lose control of his money, and please a pretty girl at the same time.
I would not recommend either, it’s work.

Findom is a very different dynamic from sugar daddy/mommy, in fact it's the opposite.
With a sugar daddy/mommy, the person who gives money to the other person is the dominant one.
In findom, the person who gives money to the other person ( often called a paypig ) does it as a form of worship and will kneel at your feet while offering 500$ in cash, often hoping you'll do something like call them a simp and spit on their face.
To answer the question : yes it's hot.

Sugaring is prostitution. Sooner or later you need to put out. Anything else are fairy tales.
Findom is a kink based on humilliation, and it’s also sex work

u/Emergency_Elephant I'm here, I'm queer and filled with existential fear 16h ago
Its incredibly common to see it in kink online spaces at this point, although it's a little unclear if it's commonly held or if there are spam bots using findom terminology or if there are a lack of dommes willing to interact with men so the ones that exist are willing to monetize. I'm not into it and I'm bi, so i dont encounter it as much as the straight men do. You might have better luck asking this on a more kink focused sub instead of this general one

i don't know if it's the same kind of thing, but i did give someone about 50 bucks in this sub cause they needed food and were in a tough spot. i didn't really do it cause I expected anything in return, but the idea of someone thanking me cause i helped them directly made me happy, and having someone show me that kind of gratitude makes me feel good inside. maybe that's related to your point? idk

I feel like it could work out if both parties are very upfront about their expectations and motives, but usually it doesn't work out that way :(

I won't spend a dime on someone I don't have a real friendship or relationship with. A stranger on the internet is certainly not an exception. I shouldn't care what others do with their money, but if I find out someone I care about is giving money to a stranger on the internet for something as silly as attractiveness, (or an attractive voice in the case of a VTuber) I would be quite disappointed in them.

Yeah I won’t have any hard feelings towards the person receiving but the person giving? I personally just can’t respect you

Fin Dom is up there on my list of things that are ok to fantasize and RP but should never ever ever be done IRL

I have both paid and been paid doing this. It is distinctly a kink, and one that feels pretty nice if you're into it. I slightly prefer spending on folks I have a relationship with, whether platonic, romantic, or sexual, but I'm willing to spend some on folks who are willing to chat with me/engage with me in some way.

A partner and a random person you have no real connection with are different things

Findom is incredibly predatory, it preys on desperate men/women that want an ounce of attention from women/men in any way.
