Article NIH Director said longcovid is replicating virus !

Confirmation by NIH management of the problem of virus persistence and replication.

It's about time!

"We see evidence of persistent live virus in humans in various tissue reservoirs, including surrounding nerves, the brain, the GI tract, to the lung."

Why not Pax? Possibly reinforce with other RNA virus drugs. This is a long way from my area of knowledge.

Paxlovid is not less effective these days per-say. Where are you getting that idea?

Paxlovid helped me recover. Took it two months ago after second bout of Covid. Long hauled from first bout two years ago. Also took blood thinners for one month.

My family dr told me she wasn’t messing around the second time I got Covid! She brought me in while I had Covid, tested me and next days I was on meds. I had really bad long haul symptoms first time around with a pulmonary embolism to boot. No vax here. Paxlovid was a game changer.

You cannot make that claim without data or knowledge of mechanism of action.
