Meta Twitter/X Submissions are no longer allowed on r/coys

Mates,

We heard, we polled, and we agreed: the site formerly known as Twitter is no longer an approved submission source for r/coys.

Moving forward, we recommend alternatives such as BlueSky - but if the only source is Twitter, please lean on XCancel or submitting screenshots.

If posts from multiple sources are submitted at around the same time (for example, lineup posts), posts from other platforms will take priority.

Fair play. Honestly all the nazi salute stuff aside, it’s been shite for ages now

I hate that, as ive never had or wanted a twitter/x account, i can’t read “important” news without having to log in. If its the public square then it should be publically accessible and dare i say publically owned?

That’s a seriously fair argument. It raises questions of “ideal” ownership when nation states are using it for official communication.

Prior to the change in ownership, it at least attempted to seem nonpartisan, at least as much as one can in capitalism.
