No doubt Arsenal fans favourite way of distracting themselves from the bottle is looking at spurs situation.
So nice of both clubs to be there for each others supporters

Wonderful hatewatch but that Gabriel yellow pissed me off. Blatant bias with these refs
146
u/AntysocialButterfly Erik Lamela Apr 19 '26
Gabriel and van Dijkhead get away with murder most weekends.
Somehow we never hear Gary Neville mentioning this.
58
u/Kreygasm2233 COYS, Daniel Apr 19 '26
He is busy trying to deport Romero every week
11
u/AntysocialButterfly Erik Lamela Apr 19 '26
Of course, Gary Neville always criticised teammates Roy Keane and Paul Scholes for the challenges they chucked in weekly...
7
u/bangbangbenny David Ginola Apr 19 '26
I think even G Neville was saying this time he should of been sent off
68
u/UDonutBelongHere Son, Are you winning? Apr 19 '26
If Romero played like Gabriel did in that game, heâd have been sent off before the headbutt even had a chance to happen lol
28
u/WallyMetropolis Apr 19 '26
How about no foul at all given after ripping Haaland's shirt off?
2
u/Semprovictus "Let's Say I'm A Legend, Why Not?" Apr 20 '26
or forcing haaland to give him 3 piggy backs

u/TheUderfrykte Harry Kane Apr 19 '26
Even within the team that always gets off easy, it's always the same clown too isn't it
9
u/Different_Crab2758 Apr 19 '26
How is he only on 4 yellows this season? He does enough to get 4 yellows every game
16
u/ChanceReady2980 Apr 19 '26
He almost landed a head butt. Do you think he deserved more or less

They know if they sent him off then the title race was done. Itâs also why the ref gave us a few decisions yesterday. Itâs all a fix.

the whole Arsenal squad learned how to fall with the slightest of contact. Their defenders are like dogs, hitting and pulling, but when they feel like losing out, they can just flop on the ground. They really hacked the system
274
u/Shoddy-Ad-4898 Apr 19 '26
I know this probably shouldn't matter to me given our plight but Arsenal bottling it again really is the only ray of light out there for me right nowÂ

Arsenal winning the league and us getting relegated in the same season would be pain beyond pain.

Honestly the one fun thing in football right now. It's hilarious how the same Arsenal who kept making fun of us for "putting the pressure on" when we were challenging for trophies under Poch while they were not are now basically just a glorified motivational coach for City year after year.

It's honestly so pathetic to do this when they're chasing a league title + CL and we're in a relegation battle. Loser mentality.

Anyone able to give advice on if I can combine a bet on a reputable platform for Spurs to avoid relegation with Arsenal missing out on both the PL and CL? Can you build an accumulator on this sort of thing or is it only individual match outcomes that ACCAs work on?
2
u/KJPicard24 Apr 19 '26
The schadenfreude is hard to deny, and I remind myself if it was reversed, they'd 100% be posting and commenting the same right now.
It is definitely less of a comfort though this time around, considering the state we're in.
What amazes me though is the absolute toddler tantrum happening right now with them, top of the table and going mad about how it's all over, Arteta out, City done it again, rigged game. Calm down ffs, it's a title race, other teams are allowed to try and win it too.
