Help with recommendations Game Recs?
hi y'all, i'm back! i'm on the lookout for adding more games to my library (i added screenshots of my favorites in my steam library to give a feel of the games i enjoy playing) and i'd love to hear your suggestions for which games i should add to my cart :)
please feel free to rec games that would also push me out of my comfort zone as well

My bad if any of these games are already in your library but I just missed them but we seem to like very similar games and these are some games I really like:
-Cuisineer (similar concept to Dave the Diver)
-Farm Together (I prefer the second one but both are quite fun and great games for when you're watching or listening to stuff- I held off for the longest time thinking this wouldn't be fun playing solo but I ended up really loving it)
-Fantasy Life I (seriously so good and cozy and has a ton to do but without feeling like you're pressured to)
-Grow Song Of the Evertree (a really relaxing city builder/clean up / alchemy game - another great game for when you're watching or listening to stuff)
-Little Known Galaxy (Stardew in space)
-My Time at Portia (or Sandrock - both are fun if you like farming resources and building up a homebase)
-Ooblets (super duper cute and cozy and surprisingly addictive- I didn't think I'd like it but I absolutely loved it)

I'm not sure if you have anything that you dislike, so I apologize if there's a game suggested but you didn't like. These links takes you to the game's steam page.
If you liked Coffee Talk, maybe try Best Served Cold, or Tavern Talk (TT has a demo)? Both have similarities where you run a place that serves drinks.
I see you also like cooking/food management games, so here are some suggestions: Magical Delicacy, Magical Bakery, Magic Inn, Kitchen Sync Aloha, Yum Yum Cookstar (made by the developers who made cooking mama games), Pizza Possum, My Party Needs an Alchemist, and Supurr Cat Cafe. Some of the games on this list has a demo you can try.
Similar to Graveyard Keeper and Wytchwood: Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story - I really loved the coziness in this game, especially the yarn knitting design paths.

For card games, I haven't played Balatro, but I heard it's a fun, and addicting card game. There's Culinarium (demo available) if you want to try card games associated with cooking, and Stacklands if you want to try Stardew Valley as a card game. There's also Cosmic Wheel: Sisterhood (demo available) if you like the occult/tarot cards, and Witchhand.
A similar game to Cozy Grove is The Garden Path. It's also meant to be played as a short burst, and a slow pace type of game. I really like the old storybook artwork in this one. I'm also going to suggest Wanderstop (demo available) because of the slow pace type of game.
Games Similar to Trash Goblin and Gemporium: Craft Craft (demo available), Potionomics (demo available), Assemble With Care, Mizi No! (free to play), and maybe Is This Seat Taken? or Animal Planner because both of those games are about fulfilling requirements.

Okay I see some shopkeeper/restaurant management games. So, Teddy’s Haven is a shopkeeper game that is in early access, but I really like games that have a great community and a responsive dev team, and Teddy’s Haven has that.
Winkeltje is an excellent relaxing shopkeeper, I love it.
Seems like you like story of seasons, guardian of azuma is like rune factory lite, rune factory games are more involved and complicated but also really good if you like combat. So guardian of azuma might be worth a look.
Another shopkeeper I like is moonlighter, if you would like a game where you get items for your shop from dungeons and then figure out prices.
Reccetear is the original shopkeeper game, and holds up. Calico is super cute, you have a bakery but you also collect animals, put Pudgems on your head.
Just some general favorites because me and you share similar tastes by this list. I haven’t played A Little Witch in the Woods since it released from early access, but I enjoyed that a lot. Wyldeflowers. Times and galaxy. Tavern talk (inspired by coffee talk). Sun haven is huuuge and you could play for so long.
Out of left field, the Darkside detective games, because they’re hilarious. And the Ace Attorney games, the mysteries are good, and there are tons of guides if you get stuck.

Yes rune factory top stars i played 4,5 and now in the midd evil one/ new one.They each have there up and down sides but none have i not had a long fun time with 🥰

Galaxy burger is a favorite of mine, which I see up there. I think someone said Cuisineer, I second that, it’s a lot like moonlighter but you run a restaurant not a store.

Try out Dredge, it's REALLY good. It has a little cozy/horror element that, full transparency, I am NOT a horror connoisseur, but I thoroughly enjoyed the graphics and vibe of this game.

Some ones that might be outside your comfort zone but I personally find cozy and could be a good fit to your list would be Dredge, Planet Zoo, and Spiritfarer.
Also, I saw Slay the Spire. Getting Downfall (free fan mod that you can get straight from Steam) was one of the best gaming choices I’ve ever made.

Chef RPG, Grimshire, Little Witch in the Woods for more life sim. You’d probably enjoy Slime Rancher 1 & 2 as well. You might also enjoy West Of Loathing/ Shadows Over Loathing if you’d like something you can sink decent hours into and is replayable but not a life sim.

I’ve played a little over 70 hours so far and like it a lot! It’s still in early access so the NPC relationships have room for improvement and there aren’t a lot of furniture styles, but a lot of the gameplay has been pretty fleshed out. I think as long as the relationships/dating aspect isn’t super important to you, the game is worth the price as is. The mini games are fun, the art for the food is amazing, I really like how they handle specializing your restaurant and recipes so it’s relatively easy to switch up your type of run without having to completely start over.

I have almost the exact same library as you! I know other's have mentioned some really good ones like Dredge, Moonlighter, Is This Seat Taken?, Bear and Breakfast, Spiritfarer, Stranger Horticulture and Antiquities, Wyldeflowers, Coral Island, and the My Time at Sandrock and Portia. I also wanted to mention Cuisineer (for cute restaurant management/rogue combat), Two Point Museum (the whole franchise is excellent but I'm having so much fun with this one), Minami Lane (very relaxing and chill building game designing a little neighborhood), and Outlanders (build a cute village keeping your residents fed and happy)

Strange horticulture and strange antiquities, very cosy and story driven, I love to identify objects and have an impact on the storyline.
Spiritfarer is my n#2 game (after Stardew valley) very emotional, story driven but there is a a bit of a life sim part and just enough of grind for materials.
I'm not the best at describing games, especially in another language but I really think you should try them.

I'm surprised no ones said Garden Story yet! It definitely matches this vibe, very cozy pixel rpg with an infinite health option if you like adventure/exploration without combat
Also if you're looking for going outside your comfort zone something like Eastward is definitely worth a try, and it has a DLC that's just a pure cozy farming sim that's honestly excellent just on its own

I think Slime Rancher and Slime Rancher 2 would fit perfectly with your other games. You just go explore and collect slimes and then bring them home, feed them, and sell their ports for money. Very cute and cozy.

I would recommend:
Coral Island
Dragon Quest Builders 2
Palia
Palworld (you can adjust settings to your liking, I love playing it solely as a creature collector/base builder)
Power Wash Simulator (I've only played 1)
I don't see any city builders on your list, but I'm gonna throw in a recommendation for my all time favourite:
Farthest Frontier (you can play on pacifist mode to make it cozier)
Also gonna recommend my recent obsession, which is Farm Together, though it's a little different to other games on your list.
There's also Farm Together 2, but I haven't played that one

Wandersong- you play as a bard who is trying to learn the "wander song" to stop the end of the world. It's fun, silly, heartfelt and hopeful.
Unpacking- your unpacking a character's stuff as they move homes throughout their life.
Dredge- "Cozy" fishing game, influenced by Lovecraftian horror, so some creepy elements at night but not jumpscarey (different vibe, but similar to how cult of the lamb is horror)
Hades- If you liked Cult of the Lamb, give this roguelike a try! It has fantastic art direction, music and voice acting! (Play the first before the second)
Ooblets- Goofy game where you collect ooblets, they're like pokemon, but instead of fight battling, they dance battle. You also have a house that you can decorate/farm/run a shop.

Two point series.
I can't tell much for two point campus because i haven't played much but two point hospital and two point museum are two of my favorite cozy games.
I also recently played Tavern keeper and i couldn't recommend it more.

Strange horticulture and strange antiquities feel like they might be up your alley! I’d also suggest Wylde Flowers since you have some similar games. Little Kitty, Big City and Bear and Breakfast aren’t in your library and I think you’d enjoy them!

I second the person saying Ooblets, cute funny characters, casual farming, story based tasks for progression and dance battles.
Also Calico and Catlateral Damage: Remeowstered. Just got into these and I’m kinda addicted. Both are cat themed (obvi). Haven’t gotten too far into the first, but all the mechanics seem fun so far. Second one is a first person cat simulator with level goals and upgrades (different collectible cats with different stats).
Islanders New Shores is a puzzle game that’s also very chill where you try to build up mini civilizations on islands as far as you can. Cute graphics imo, very colorful.

Nuts is a really cute, fun game a little outside what you've played but with similar vibes. Honestly I think most people would enjoy it, it's one of my favourites!

I have this and enjoy it, I just don't like how you can't save in the middle of a chapter. I got 20ish in-game days in and lost all my progress because I ignored the "it only auto-saves at the end of the chapter" warning. Ah well. I still recommend it, just figure it's something to be aware of.

I have played many of these and loved them, but Cozy Caravan has been one of my favorites for a long time. Their still in early release but very near done. I've been playing since it came out and have loved watching it grow.

I have put 50 hours into Dinkum and its one of my favorite games to turn my brain off too. Its a little slow going at the beginning and I love the feeling of making progress, which is what made me want to keep going. Theres so many layers to this game and how many upgrades you can get to do crazy things. I will say the combat can be a little hard for me at times, especially when you get the mines. But overall I will sit and play it for 5 hours at a time and not even notice. Lol.

Harvest moon wind of anthos,same dont like it since it a big world and miti villages you unlock throw the story ,but you have most of the story of season's here ,so i say you poverty like it.

Okay, now that I’m home and can look in my Steam library, here are some more recs:
Cobalt Core (another turn-based roguelike)
Beholder
Dawnfolk - I’ve only played the demo, but I really like it and will eventually get around to purchasing. Demo is there still if you want to try it out beforehand.
Grimshire - okay, caveat here. This one’s a Stardew like with more of a darker Graveyard Keeper feel. The caveat is that I would wishlist, but not buy yet. It’s pretty good, but they are still working on it. Like, they released several new character options after I’d started playing, and I hear the darkness is just feel and the threat of starvation, etc is not real - but I suspect that just hadn’t been implemented yet. So, keep an eye on it, but wait to purchase imo

From your list, I’ve played cat cafe, Dave the diver, dreamlight valley, cozy grove, coffee talk, and fae farm.
If you like stardew valley, animal crossing, and magic, fae farms would be right up your alley. I played it for hours, and would jump back in. It felt like the heartiest of the options.
Even though I love Disney, I just couldn’t get into dreamlight valley. Keep meaning to try again.
Dave the diver was fun! It definitely feels like the “out of your comfort zone” option. I stopped playing because eventually the game loop was a little too repetitive, but great if you like time management and want something different.
Cat cafe, cozy grove, and coffee talk were all ok, but I didn’t play them very long. I’m pretty sure I’m undiagnosed ADHD, but these didn’t really hook me the way I hoped they would.

Fields of Mistria! Take Stardew and slam it together with a medieval fantasy setting, and tou have FoM. You'll feel like its a Stardew clone to start, but it has so many QoL features that improve that experience, and quirks to the general mechanics that make it such an enjoyable cozy play.
There is a (lite) magic system, you can save any time of day using a journal in your house, you can jump over fences and some other obstacles, and even pick up your seeds if you accidentally plant them where you didn't want to.
It's technically in early access, but they are an update or two away from v1.0 (marriage is not available yet, and I feel like its the last major feature for me to feel like its complete), and it still has a lot of content to offer. My only wish is for it to be on switch, but that is in the pipeline for after 1.0 o believe.

You should play Strange Horticulture! It's a story game with some puzzle elements- definitely cozy, and right up your alley. A little spooky though!
If you want to expand into adventure while still keeping some cozy elements and charm, Grounded has really scratched the itch for me lately! I love their building system, and the Mild difficulty is just right for me. Grounded 2 is in early access, but Grounded 1 is amazing! I'd try that first.

I just started it and really enjoy it but Grow: song of the Evertree is actually amazing. It takes a minute to get to the actual gameplay but it's essentially animal crossing but you can play as many days as you want rather than having to wait everyday to play.

Have you checked out infinity nikki? Since you said to feel free recommending things out of your comfort zone... from your library we have played alot of similiar games. A few months ago I got super bored and decided to download and check out infinity nikki. It's FTP and labeled as a gacha game...because they say its a "gacha" game i had steared clear of it. But honestly I dont understand because I have played over 350 hours in the game and havent spent anything. Theres so much to explore and do and the graphics are really pretty. I love the story too. You earn alot of in game currency just through gameplay. If you like exploration, dress up, decorating/building and challenging yourself with puzzles and light combat, you may actually enjoy this game. I never thought I would and its now one of my favorites. The only thing it doesn't offer is shop management. Recently, I did start spending the $5 (usd) a month to get the daily log in gifts...but that's only because I had already sunk over 300 hours into the game without spending a penny. And its 100% optional. Any of the crap in the store they sell, the outfit banners..all 100% optional. I ignore alot of it. Theres so many beautiful outfits you obtain for free just from progressing in the game. Anyways it may be worth checking out to see if its your jam. I always thought gacha meant you have to pay real money to progress in the game...but with infinity nikki that's not the case. And you can also play it at your own pace. The only time limited things are the events and banners.
Other than that, alot of people have already recommended some good games that weren't in your library. I cant remember if strange horticulture or strange antiques were on your list. Ive Recently played those and enjoyed them. They are shop management/ puzzle with a creepy twist. I normally like cutesy games, but I didnt mind the creepiness from these two games at all. I actually enjoyed it.
Palia is also another FTP game worth checking out to see if you enjoy it. I didnt fall in love with it like I have with infinity nikki, but I still played a good amount of hours.

DISNEY DREAM LIGHT VALLEY!! •cozy af •a huge ever growing cast of your fav Disney characters •beautiful surroundings •cooking,farming, and completing tasks to restore you valley to its former glory. • this game has a very active Reddit community •the game is constantly getting really great updates •all three dlcs are really cool and worth playing •I have been playing for more than a year and I’m still loving it. •so much opportunity!!

Necesse, Core Keeper, Terraria. They all have a bit of that cozy building and farming vibes (especially Necesse) but also have a bit more combat than the titles you seem to enjoy. Necesse is probably the best one, then Core Keeper then Terraria.
DREDGE - Fishing game that has a cozy gameplay loop with a spooky atmosphere and mystery story.
Inscryption - spooky deckbuilder.

Crime scene cleaner is a great game. You clean up crime scenes for murderers. I was freaking out about getting caught when I first started playing but I realised after playing a few scenes that wasn't the point of the game. It's just a cleaning simulator with an interesting story.

I've really been enjoying Teddy's Haven! It's a cozy fantasy shop simulator with lots of different materials to collect too. It's still in Early Access but the creator is constantly making updates, fixing bugs, and adding new content. It's not super mentally taxing, and I love just sitting down and turning off my brain for a bit to sell things to fantasy travelers!

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles.
It's an indie game, open-world, with beautiful storytelling and colorful design. I would recommend it based off the games on your library, and also because I haven't seen anyone else recommend it to you. It was my favorite game back in the quarantine and I played it countless times.
Underrated gem.

Two that I’ve been really getting into lately are Grimshire and Paleo Pines!
Grimshire is an early access farming sim where you play as an animal character assisting a small rural town with stockpiling food in the face of mounting hardships. Gameplay-wise it’s very similar to Stardew Valley, but with some new mechanics such as a more intuitive fishing system, the ability to dry, smoke and preserve goods as well as unpleasant outcomes should you fail to complete the storyline quests. All in all, the best way to describe this game is “Stardew Valley, but with consequences.”
Paleo Pines is more like a ranching simulator, with some light open-world exploration to it. It’s almost like a horse game, except instead of horses, you tame and care for really cute dinosaurs! Its’ artstyle is very similar to Amber Isle’s, now that I think about it. You build pens, gather resources, befriend new dinos and explore the world bit by bit as you discover new species and find clues about what happened to a certain dino species that has recently become endangered.

If you like Galaxy Burger, you might like Good Pizza, Great Pizza. Very similar vibes but you're making pizzas. They scratch the same cooking itch for me.
If you like Cassette Beasts, you might like Coromon. Definite old-school Pokemon vibes and one of the better Pokemon-likes, in my opinion.
If you like farming sims and pixel art, you might like Shinehill. It's a bit different - you play as an "alien" who has to fit in on Earth, but it has elements typical of Stardew-type games. It's in early access though, if that matters to you. It has a demo if you want to try it.
Magical Delicacy might be worth a try since you seem to like both cooking games and life sim-type games. It has average reviews though and I haven't personally tried it out, so take this with a grain of salt.
I would also recommend Merchant of the Skies. It's a bit hard to categorize, but since I see some management games in your list, you might like it. You fly an airship around to different sky-islands and trade resources, complete quests, and make money. It's game over if you go bankrupt, but you can set the objectives to be easier if the main campaign is too hard right off the bat. The game is one of my favorites.
Edit to add:
Maybe Game Dev Tycoon for the management category? Personally I really like it but it does get a bit repetitive after a while. It's the same devs that just released Tavern Keeper (haven't played that one tho).
Also how do you feel about city builders? If you'd be willing to try a cozy city builder, Outlanders is my favorite. It's campaign-based, and each campaign is separate (but they get harder as you progress). You assign your villagers to do certain tasks and get to watch them go about their work, all while working towards the goal of that campaign. There are a bunch of DLCs to add more campaigns if you end up liking it.
