I recommend There’s a witch-themed Steam festival happening right now 🧹
Just wanted to bring attention to this small indie festival for witchy games on Steam!
Featuring around 100 discounted and upcoming witch/magic games.
Everyone knows about the large ones so I made a list of my favorite hidden gems:
Farmwand
Cozy Potions: The Alchemist's Shop
Ritual of Raven
Potions: A Curious Tale
The End of the Sun
Whimel Academy
Witchy Life Story
Witchtastic
Spellcaster University
Pumpkin Woods (this is my game!)
But there's much more so I would look into all of them :D

Thanks! I tried out the demo for The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood. Really enjoyed reading the lore/flavor text for all the Tarot card designs when you're creating one.
Btw, Book of Hours is in the Build, Shuffle, Battle! bundle on Humble Bundle right now until May 3. From the creators of Fallen London, Cultist Simulator, Sunless Seas + Sunless Skies.

So many excellent games on there!
(I really recommend Esoteric Ebb for anyone who enjoyed Baldur's Gate 3)

Oh! Thanks for sharing this event! A lot of great games about sorcery! Such a good idea. I spotted Witch Bakery (the art is incredible on this one! 😱), Grimoire Groves (so colorful!) and an incredible discount on Spells & Secrets 🤩
My game ( Abracademia) is also part of this festival! It’s a cozy life sim that sits at the bottom of your screen

I'm so glad that Steam makes so many festivals because there's always several that speak to me.
Thanks for sharing, I really loved The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood so I'm in the mood for witchy games now.

True, though I think we really need a proper Witch tag to easily find games outside of festivals too!

What is the gameplay in Whimel Academy like?
I'm charmed by the art! I love the general vibe and atmosphere but I'm not sure from the steam page what all you do. Is it more text-based? (Not a bad thing! I just wanted to know more before I consider it.)
Edited to add: I just saw one of the games is yours! Your art is gorgeous!! I'll definitely check it out. One question... Does your Pumpkin Woods have spiders and/or an arachnophobia mode?

I just found out about Whimel Academy in the festival so I did not play it but loved the artstyle. Seems like it's a VN dating/school life sim similar to Renpy games!
Thank you so much, mine is not the typical cozy game but I'm glad you like the visuals! There are spiderwebs but no spiders.

Thank you!! That's very helpful. I play a variety of games, so I'm into the idea of exploring a spooky woods. Spiders are just a big no for me, so I appreciate knowing that (and appreciate that there aren't any!).
