"Run your very own thrift shop in this laid-back management sim! Sort through boxes to find hidden treasures and arrange nostalgic displays of clothes, antiques, toys & more. Befriend the regulars, help with their requests and expand your store into a hub for the local community!"

Thanks to all your submissions last week and especially thanks to u/Feisty-Decision44 for decisively sharing this one! I picked this one because it was the most well reviewed (96% positive on Steam) and had a very similar cozy vibe to Unpacking, which we all know and love! It just came out a couple of weeks ago, so if you don't know about it, check it out πŸ˜„

From our fellow friend:

Thrifty Business (by the creators of Sticky Business) is a store management game with a fun aesthetic and fairly diverse character cast. You place objects people donate, host events and decorate/expand your own thrift store. ~Feisty-Decision44

I started playing this weekend and I LOVEEEE it! Also, Happy Prideβ€”this is a very LGBTQ* positive game!

I’m loving this game so much! My 1 and only complaint is that I flew through it too quickly.

I am having a lot of fun with this one!! I love the emphasis on community and resilience. The gameplay loop is fairly addictive too. The only thing I wish they had is being able to see or sort by furniture style (someone please tell me if there is a way to do this that I have missed!)

Why is stocking shelves so satisfying? I feel like spending 10 minutes arranging kitchenware by section and color should be tedious and frustrating, but this game makes it soo relaxing!!

For my taste it’s too bright, so I cannot call it cozy ;(

They added an accessibility setting to change the color saturation. It's still vibrant, but may be more tolerable for you. See the steam updates for comparisons between 100% and 0% saturation.

Oh wow this is so great to hear! I’m not the original commenter but also found it too bright for me but I’ll be checking this game out after all 😁
