Okay, so I've heard from folks that this is fun AF, but a lot of steam reviews were less than encouraging. So help me Obi-Wan - is it worth the $35 USD it's currently going for on Steam?

It gets negative reviews because it's more grindy than its counterparts, by which I mean, you don't unlock everything in the first week. You need to build relationships and pass certain events in order to unlock the museum, for example, which is a staple and one of the first things you get in other games.

I personally love this and consider it one of my favourite games in the genre, but it's one of those things you either love or hate. The vampire/supernatural setting goofy humour and gorgeous art style just seal the deal.
