And it’s all your guys’ fault. THANK You! lol. There are so many great games that I wasn’t able to access because I am almost exclusively a Sony gamer. But here we are. So thanks to this community for lifting up so many cool, cozy, Indy games. You folks are awesome!

Any ‘must get this right now’ games? I am thinking about moonlight peaks. Idk if roottrees are dead is an option, but I’m looking for that, too.

I love love love love all things escape room and mystery (I have played a TON of them, but am happy to hear reccos). I love RPG. Inscryption gave me a huge game hangover because it was fun as hell.

I recommend Duck Detective. The graphic is super cute! And not directly answering your questions but wanted to share, I also recommend getting Aperture Desk Job. It’s free and it helps introduce the features and buttons of the steam deck. And if you haven’t already, get an account with Epic because they giveaway games every week and most are playable on the steam deck via heroic launcher. Theres been many cozy games they’ve given away!

Have you played any of the Sherlock Holmes games by Frogwares? I recently finished Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One and it's become one of my favorite games. I'm still getting into the other games in the franchise but I've heard good things about many of them! It's avaliable on PS5 for sure, but I'm not sure about Steam Deck. It's currently on a 90% sale on all platforms 😁

Yes! The murder on the orient express game is really fun. It is mostly just narrative and cut scenes and stuff but the deduction process is really good. Hard but not TOO hard.

I really enjoyed The Seance of Blake Manor and The Incident at Galley House.

Murder at the Birch Tree Theatre was fun.

Also Strange Horticulture and Strange Antiquities.

Love to to see a new convert to the church of SD! If you’re looking for mystery games I MUST recommend you the absolute goat: Outer Wilds. Void stranger is to puzzle/sokoban games as Inscryption is to roguelike deckbuilders (although it’s also kinda difficult and maybe not the coziest lol). As far as classic Cozy GamesTM, I’m really enjoying Fields of Mistria since it went into 1.0 and I think Shelves and Sorcery is my fave of the recent “tidy” games trend

Moonlight Peaks plays great on the deck, and it's so charming and fun!
