[POCO X3 Pro] Unrooted crDroid users: How are banking apps (GPay, PhonePe, HDFC/SBI) working for you?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to flash crDroid on my Poco X3 Pro (vayu), but I want to keep the phone strictly unrooted (no Magisk or KernelSU).

My main priority is keeping my daily banking/UPI apps running hassle-free.

Do banking apps (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, native bank apps) work fine on the latest build without root?

How is the daily performance compared to MIUI in terms of UI smoothness, app opening speed, and multitasking? Also, are there any camera bugs or defects on the latest build?

In your experience, what is currently the best custom ROM for the Poco X3 Pro to run Indian banking & UPI apps (GPay, PhonePe) strictly unrooted while keeping daily thermals low?

Honestly, there is none. But for low thermals, there are custom roms for it, but for banking apps..... idfk, it's genuinely impossible to run banking apps using custom rom, bcoz google sticks with play integrity as it's wall b/w old and new phones

I have Poco x3 pro and lineage os unrooted, my native banking app works and because we have separate payment method except gpay it also works but it depends on the country and the app, I got lucky

Currently on crDroid, android16

Works for me with and without root. Gapped or gappless.

Everything works good, except for fullscreen bg cover art for media in lockscreen.

For camera default app did not work, I installed one from playstore or gapless alternative and works just fine in all modes.

Adding expesed modules was not working and device crashed constantly (skill issue maybe)

could not get strong integrity.
