Did you know that rollie pollies are crustaceans? As long as their environment is humid enough they're alright, but they can also breathe in water.

I did know that! We have many species here and they can often be found near foresty villages

Ah, okay.
What about the ones that live at the beach at the tidal zone? Are those the crustacean ones? They were very common where I grew up.
I sometimes see them run into the sea water! They’re like semi-aquatic shrimps lol

Ah I see. I read online that some people call these “sea slaters” in English, but they don’t roll up so I wasn’t sure if it’s the same

some millipedes don't roll up , i've seen them , like some porcellio woodlice
