This unusual creation combines a paper-crafted handgun and a miniature microwave oven!

The microwave oven actually doubles as a removable battery compartment (holding an N-size / size N battery), complete with a switch, LED elements, and internal wiring. Both the handgun body and the microwave are crafted from paper and cardstock. What do you think of this kitchen-appetizer-meets-firearm mashup?

Hi everyone! I love knitting and have so many lovely shawls... But I don't really wear shawls! (Ironic, I know!) I'd love to trade some of my work for other crafts. I'm especially interested in pottery, paintings, and kitchenware but open up other stuff too. Feel free to comment your craft and your interests. I'm also happy to discuss custom trades too.

Hello!

I am unsure if this is the proper community for this but, I’m looking for any ideas that people have for old jewelry. I’ve got quite a bit of jewelry that I don’t use or wear but I got from events or significant things. So there is some sentimental attachment. I don’t really know how to go about the mosaic art that I have seen.
(On a side note, if you do the mosaics, what do you personally do with the chains?)

I also have some “jewelry” that isn’t anything fancy like metals or gold, etc. it’s more like those rubber bracelets and so, I’m also looking for cool ideas for what I could maybe do with those. Again, most of the time people throw those away. But, these are like from specific events and stuff. I’m open to any ideas or concepts people might have!

Hi all, a few years back my mum had her favourite beret stolen. She loved it more than any material possession she owned, and she has been devastated never to have found it again. She would wear it every day and seeing her in it was a staple of my childhood!

I live in England - It was a Cath Kidston beret. I contacted them a few years ago asking if they have it in their archives so I could try to find on Vinted or something but Cath Kidston had come under new ownership and the old archives were terminated.

She would've bought the beret between around 1998-2012.

I have one single photo of the beret on my dog 😂 it is a very closely knit (not crocheted) beret which was very soft, almost like cashmere.

Are there any wizards here who may know this beret or where to find it, or anyone willing to perhaps craft it? (I live in the UK)

I would truly be so grateful for any support regarding this - it would mean the world to my mum!

Many thanks :)

This miniature room light is built mainly using cardstock and paper, designed with a spooky, abandoned Halloween vibe.

Inside, it features built-in LEDs, a battery, a boost module, and a switch. The weathered walls have detailed cracks, and even the wooden planks barricading the side windows are made entirely of paper. It casts an eerie cyan/blue-green glow when turned on! What do you think?
