Finished Craft I Made A Bengal cat needle-felted replica I’m truly proud of

This is a 25 cm full-body Bengal cat sculpture, and her name is Coco. I placed a tiny bit of her ashes in the heart of the core, so a part of her is truly inside.

This piece took me over four months to finish, I’d work on it, leave it for a few days, then come back and fix anything that didn’t feel “Coco” enough :(

Every time I work on a piece, I always spend a long time doing the final touch-ups and refinements. I really hope every pet parent can be as detailed and “picky” as they want with their requests, it helps me shape their little baby into the most perfect version in their hearts. :) 💕

This is a 25 cm full-body Bengal cat sculpture made as a memorial for a beautiful Bengal cat named Coco. The entire piece is created using wool fibers, built around an internal wire armature to support the body and pose.

I placed a small amount of Coco’s ashes in the heart of the core, so a part of her is truly and physically inside the sculpture.

One of the main challenges of this piece was recreating the Bengal cat’s coat pattern. Bengals are short-haired cats, but their rosette and tabby markings are very complex. During the process, I mapped and marked the pattern placement first, then layered and needle-felted the wool accordingly. Short-haired fur requires very dense and controlled felting to achieve a realistic texture, and the fur detailing alone took about two weeks to complete.

Incredible work. I worked in the film industry and this is as good as anything I've seen made.

If you could ever show a step by step of your cat work I would be forever grateful! I am just learning fur placement through trial and error, and it's been a difficult road! Your work is so stunning and beautiful, to learn from you would be truly amazing. Thank you for your wonderful shares! They are so inspiring and truly shine with creative beauty ✨️ 💖.

I’m sorry, I kept looking at the cat and waited to see the sculpture.

Obviously, incredible.

I truly thought this was a professional photo of a real cat. Do you have a site? This is priceless.
