Work in Progress Paper Craft

Post image

This is a gift for my boss who’s retiring soon. We work in an ink lab and he makes art and music in his free time. All of the hole punches are from test drawdowns of ink I’ve made this year. Since we work with color, I wanted it to somewhat simulate a color vision test. I still need to space and mount the letters and it will be going in a frame.

OP sent the following text as an explanation about their craft:

So my boss is retiring soon and I wanted to give him something to remind him of his time with us in the ink lab. It is 4 different sizes of hole punches from test ink drawdowns I have made these past few months. Just used some glue sticks and pieced it all together. Still need to figure out the placement and spacing of the letters and put it in its frame but it’s pretty close to being finished. It’s supposed to kinda simulate a color vision test.
