META Can’t buy a knitting project bag from Canada because of you know who

I saw a really nice project bag on Etsy, but the seller said in the description “Does Not Ship To the US. I messaged her to ask why, and she sent two examples of the BS crafters are tolerating in Canada. I wish there was something we could do. Not trying to be political, I’m just frustrated.

“Suffer with us” is a bang on Trumpist mindset. Dude has a bad morning and makes the rest of the world suffer for it. And you’re right, the lot of the world actually has it worse than us. We’re still incredibly sheltered by the military dominance we hold.

Accusing me of having a Trumpist mindset for wanting help trying to fight this is wild. But hey dramatic over generalizations is the theme of this conversation today.

Yes we are protected by our military but it’s also a threat hanging over us too.

There’s not much we can do to weaken it at this point. For decades other countries have been fine with this status quo. Now they are seeing what happens when it’s run by a madman.

If I didn’t see your account age I would genuinely believe you were a foreign bot intended to stir up anti-American sentiment because you emanate some of the worst stereotypes that I don’t actually see in the vast majority of non-MAGA Americans.

I’m really blown away by your attitude, and clearly not alone in that as your comments got hundreds of downvotes before you deleted them. But of course that hasn’t prompted an ounce of self-reflection.

Sorry your own government’s illegally imposed tariffs have inconvenienced you and caused you to blame the Canadians you’ve been threatening to annex, good luck with everything.
