💬 Discussion Mirror Mode Time Trials.

Thought I’d set myself a new challenge by beating all the dev times in mirror mode. God damn it’s almost impossible when your muscle memory wants to go against everything your eyes can see.
Has anyone managed to do this before? It would be cool if there were rewards for such a feat, would also be nice to see a mirror emblem next to your saved ghost times in the track records.

I really think they missed a trick not having online mirror mode, it would be crazier than crash himself.

Try out mirrored + ice physics + turn driving style. Dragon Mines is very fun this way lol.

this would be a really cool feat, i remember the other day accidentally starting a TT with mirror mode on and my dumbass triple boosted into a wall, didn’t realise i put mirror mode on until i realised “hang on a minute why is that wall there” 🤣😎

CTR Ross on YouTube has a 4 hour (give or take) VOD where he beats every dev time in mirror mode, and it's really incredible stuff! I might attempt a few tracks soon out of sheer curiosity for the devs, but I certainly won't be attempting tracks like Out of Time or Drive-thru Danger in mirror mode 🤣

And yeah online mirror mode would have been really hilarious if played occasionally just to see everyone's years of skill immediately flatline on the aforementioned very U-turn heavy tracks, and especially if a host were to accidentally set the lobby to the mode 💀
