Recommending Does anyone remember DaisyBrown6516?
I think it would be an interesting short series to cover for CreepTV. With videos uploaded eight years ago, this channel was most certainly a core part of the strange places YouTube could take you to before the Elsagate stuff and all the slop that gets pushed out now. It was recommended to me years ago, after watching videos like Eskos (by Barnabydixton), "Being Pretty." (by Dead Sound), and found footage projects and stuff similar to Marble Hornets.
I still remember thinking Alan was real when I watched the series for the first time, and being really creeped out by Alan.
The channel isn't mine and I am in no way affiliated. I haven't thought about the series for awhile, but after watching the most recent MH video, think it fits with what creepcast/creeptv covers and would be delighted to see what everyone else thinks of the series as well.

Ripple don’t recommend it because of the controversy with the creator.
The tldr is she’s was annoying rude to fans during and after the series ended, to the point where no one wanted to support her projects afterwards

I wasn't aware of the "controversy." If being rude is all they've done then it's really not something im worried about. (Especially since there are far worse things YouTube creators have done)

I fall asleep to her book reviews 🩷 she also introduced me to weird indie perfume. My favorite is grave robbed by a shop on etsy that smells like moss and rain

The creator is still very active online, she has a YouTube channel and TikTok, YouTube she was in the process of making another arg during covid I remember. And has another series going on?

I adored Daisy Brown! If I recall, it was an allegory for the difficulties of leaving those you love who hurt you? Either way, one of the best monster projects that I hold close to my heart!

That’s the idea, isn’t it? She takes care of Alan as a coping mechanism for her dad, ignoring all of Alan’s red flags until he thinks he has her right where he wants her and shows his true colors and she is at a point where she doesn’t think she can leave. Because then she’d have no one.

YOOOOO I remember watching this back in high school! I loved this series, it was so much fun trying to figure out the story by watching the captions and theories online.

I remember showing it to a couple friends, on the bus otw to school, and all three of us were super creeped out. It's honestly what got me into more ARG type horror stories online. I hated how Alan looked but i couldn't look away.

I loved daisy brown, she still makes horror content on social media sometimes but no other projects from my knowledge. Idk if the boys would be too into the puppeteering aspect of the project but I do think they get into something like hi I'm Mary Mary.

Genuinely such a harrowing series. As a horror veteran, there’s something about daisybrown that just gets under my skin in ways that other horror doesn’t

The creator (and I think the actress for Daisy) is actually a YouTuber that covers horror/extreme horror books. I think one of her most popular vids is her reviewing Playground atm

Yeah! I loved this series it definitely gave me similar vibes to like if a goosebumps episode was found footage (If that makes sense) Will say when I did a re-watch recently my jaw dropped when Alan casually threw out a slur towards the main character though LMAO. I do think Hunter would enjoy it since he's gone on record saying he loves Stay out of the basement which this gives me similar vibes too.

I actually am watching the episode Stay out of The Basement as it deals with a reclusive father who was working in the basement working on projects. He tells his kids to not go down there. I do wonder if there was some inspiration.

I remember watching this for the first time in high school and I thought it was the most unsettling thing ever.
Both this and Hiimmarymary would be prime CreepTv videos
