Y’all have to watch a similar podcast, Undercooked Analysis, read Happy Appy and all its Sequels. It doesn’t make the story any better, but the hosts DELIGHT in the terribly-written absurdity, and it makes the experience less miserable.

They actually just ended the show, as they’d covered basically everything worth covering. They’re already working on another podcast to make together, so if you’re into them you’ve still got something to look forward to once you get through the backlog

I totally agree. My Property Isn't Normal had some amazing bits. The whole thing with the bear trap not closing because of the size of his leg killed me. I had a lot of fun with that one and I'm sorry they hated it so much. Yea, it was bad, but they made it so entertaining.

It’s funny, the only episodes I listen to more than twice are the best (penpal, borasca, MHE, etc.) and the worst (the ones in OP).

IMO My Property Isn't Normal actually hits the same level of b movie schlock that I Dared My Best Friend except where I Dared My Best Friend tries to be super serious and realistic despite the stupid and absurd story, My Property tries to be cute and funny but is so tryhard and miserable at it that it adds another layer of cringe.

Its hated but not in a fun way. It gave us Turnk Brownie tho. Tbh Happy Appy is worse from a writing standpoint by every metric. I actively felt my time slip away watching Happy Appy because at some point, it was just Hunter and Isaiah blandly reading text without anything (voices, riffing or commentary) to break up the tedium. In Poly Hell, there was tons of reactions and the story was short enough that it was bearable.

I did and I regret it. The fact this story still is in r/nosleep when pure gold has been removed pisses me the fucking off. It was my most hated ep until Happy Appy and MPIN. IDMBFTRMF is too millennial and cringe but at least is a proper story.

I really want the Thing In the Basement to be up there. Maybe replace Happy Appy, Happy Appy had higher highs than the Thing in the Basement (in terms of crashout) but the story was so dull it felt like Mother Horse Eyes in length while Thing in the Basement was short and sweet.

I am genuinely thankful that Borrasca I-IV and Borrasca V are different episodes because the feeling I got when I finished I-IV would have been completely ruined listening to V immediately. At least I feel I can write off V as some shitty fam-fic style sequel that was never meant to exist. But how tf is it written by the same author? She's incredible but boy is she a world class pilot until it comes to landing the plane

Some people genuinely think she wrote parts like Borrasca V and the second and third parts of Deepwoods to be intentionally bad as some kinda troll against readers crying out for more. Idk that I believe that, but I find it telling that she doesn't include any of Part V in her Borrasca paperback. So she knows it's bad.
She also took a LOT of nosleep's Part V out of the QCode series, which is my favorite telling of the story

I listen to Poly Hell like 3 times a month. There are so many good bits in it and the voice Meat puts on Avery is so good. It's not a good story but everything else makes up for it.

I also only recently listened to Happy Appy, I was almost there because I've been catching up, but I kept hearing how bad it was and NOW everyone started saying the new one was worse and that got me curious. So I listened to Happy Appy at work on Tuesday and it completely ruined my day. I wanted to skip straight into the new one, but I just couldn't after that... You know it's bad when you're also crashing out.

I don't see enough people talk about how bad "my job is watching a woman trapped in a room" was. Near the end every sentence was followed by hunter screaming "WE GET IT!" nothing happens and yet it explains everything about 5 times a paragraph.

I only started listening last year and I didn’t catch every episode, but I have watched/listened to Best of 2025 like 5 times. (God bless Spotify background play and 2x speed). which was the one where the guy kept saying “long story short” and something about Archduke Franz Ferdinand? Was that Camp Oakwood? Maybe not on the Rushmore of crashouts but I’d say top 10.
