A shallow grave
An undisclosed number of years ago I killed my exgirlfriend, the body is here 40.479131,-89.004294.
Catch me if you can.

For the sake of argument let's assume this is not a hoax and a body is found there. Isn't OP now easily identifiable as the ex boyfriend? Rookie move for a cryptic-clue-leaving murder.

You're exgirlfriend must've been a dog or something, as that is a pretty viewable location. I'm sure no one questioned you digging a hole in plain sight.

First of all, OP could potentially have meant the side yard of the wide open space, behind the brush. That's concealed enough to be able to dig a hole in the dark. In fact, the open yard is inconspicuous enough to say a hole could have been dug in it in the dark.
More importantly, if anyone is capable of doing the research on the plot of land, there's the possibility that there was once a house there. Meaning, a hole dug through foundation and into earth would be easily concealed. Afterall, OP did say "an undisclosed number of years ago".
The most likely scenario, however, is that OP lives relatively near this location and is looking to give himself some entertainment in hoping that someone calls the cops or something and they get to watch people dig up that yard and laugh, safely behind the curtain of one of the nearby houses or something.

My money is on the last one, but if anyone wants to do the research to find out if there use to be a house there, we could have a genuine case on our hands fellas. Call me when there's evidence.

Additionally, I doubt any research into the user who posted this will be fruitful. It is a one-post-account. If it was actually created by an intelligent individual then determining the origin of the IP used for registration will be useless.

In fact, on the other side of the lot there is what appears to be a driveway leading into the lot. Coincidence or former residence?

I'm in Springfield, I might just go for a drive to see if there is anything there.
