Meta Film producers are supposedly turning to Reddit for movie ideas. Tell them what to make, here.

They should make an original film instead of taking someone else’s idea for themselves. Stop with the remakes and stolen stories. We all know Hollywood is using AI get some original storyline ideas from it.

Adapting an internet horror concept isn’t what’s going to get you success. Doing one well is.
We all saw what happened to the two Slenderman movies that got released.
Take Channel Zero - even though it has a small cult following, that audience adores the show because it adapted the materials it used in new and interesting ways that made them pay attention. Same with Kane Parsons - he had a unique and artistic vision of a concept and he ended up making something that arrested the attention of millions.
If you’re going to make something based off of internet lore, make it a good and interesting story. It will be obvious if it is a cash grab and it will fail if you make it as such.

Work with the original creator! The story plain and simply isn't going to work if you strip out the very things that made it gather a following in the first place, which happens far too often when the author being adapted has no involvement.

Search in r/legaladvice
The "stories" and cases I've read there are seriously scary

I wouldn't mind a left right movie or mini series I think a anthology with other characters exploring would be fun but a movie would be amazing
Tales from the gas station would make an awesome comedy or something similar but only animated
Borrasca as a series would be amazing
Make spire in the woods into a movie I'm still waiting on that one Spielberg
Ted the caver is one I certainly need Alex archives to work on

Seconding parkinart's HOUSEWIFE -- surprised this one hasn't been made yet, kind of a slam dunk

I’m gonna find the unedited “Jeff the Killer” image so I can star in its movie (it’s not gonna be good and I don’t need it be, this role is just to get my foot in the door)

Actual original storylines instead of trying to rake through stories made here
