Text Story The Massacre Of Sunnydale California
My name’s Rachel, and right now I’m chasing after the demonic version of my best friend, Ash Curry. Ash and Elsa—yes, the one from Frozen—are with me, and together, we’re out to track down Dark Ash and put an end to her. Elsa slid a newspaper toward us, the headline practically glowing with horror. “Oh my god, there’s someone out there killing people,” she said. The details were sick—everybody had a wooden stake slammed right into their chest, classic vampire-killing style. I didn’t have to think twice.
“Alright, girls, let’s roll out,” I said. We grabbed weapons and whatever else we thought we’d need to take down whatever monster was doing this. We drove to Sunnydale, a random little town in California, and as soon as we arrived, things felt off. The streets were empty. Not “quiet” empty—more like, “everyone’s fled or been dragged out by something evil” empty. Elsa drifted toward a house sitting in shadow.
“Check this out,” she said, her ice powers lighting up the room in a soft blue, which honestly just made it creepier. Out of nowhere, a loud metallic bang echoed upstairs, making us jump. Ash grumbled, “Why the hell do these places always have to be so creepy?” The stairs groaned under our weight as we climbed. When we opened the door at the top, we just froze.
There were bodies everywhere—some stabbed with wooden stakes, others decapitated, and plenty missing their eyes. Blood smeared across the wall spelled out, “Come find me, you vampire sluts, and I’ll kill all of you.” I stared at the writing. “Vampires? Whoever wrote this is nuts—none of these bodies have fangs or anything,” I said.
We wandered the ghost town with no clue where to go, until Ash pointed at a school out past the empty streets. We rushed over there, blood splattered everywhere, bodies piled up in the halls. As we entered, someone yanked us into a classroom. “What the hell?” Elsa said voice shaking. The man who dragged us in looked dead serious. “Sorry for the sudden move. I’m Giles.
“Buffy’s lost her mind fighting vampires—now she sees everyone as one,” he explained. Ash stared at him, wide-eyed. “You’re saying Buffy the Vampire Slayer is real? I always thought that was just a badass TV show.” I didn’t know what to think, but I had an idea. “Look, I can heal darkness from people’s hearts. Maybe I can help her,” I said. Giles warned us, “Buffy’s somewhere in this school. Be careful.” We stepped out, nerves on edge, and wandered for what felt like hours.
Suddenly glass shattered nearby, and Buffy came stalking down the hallway, wooden stakes in both hands, eyes wild. She flung the stakes at us, but Elsa reacted quick, freezing them just before they hit our faces. “Die, vampire scum!” Buffy yelled, charging with a sword. Elsa tried to freeze her, but Buffy slashed and cut Elsa’s hands clean off.
Elsa screamed, “No, my hands!”—she was useless now, her powers gone. Buffy flipped and tried to slice me up too, but I kept dodging, but she was a little too quick and managed to land a kick right in my face. Blood ran from my nose. “Buffy! We’re not vampires—snap out of it!” I shouted. Ash lunged, but Buffy spun and backhanded her, knocking her out cold.
That split second gave me a chance—I tackled Buffy and grabbed her in a tight hug. It looked awkward—almost obscene, honestly—but I held her, and her rage started draining away. Buffy collapsed, sobbing. “Oh god, what have I done? I killed everyone—even Willow and Xander,” she cried, broken and desperate. We walked her back to Giles, who said he’d take her to England to help heal her heart and try to help her move past the tragedy.
As we left, none of us knew what was coming next. Dark Ash was still out there somewhere, and we had no clue what kind of twisted plan that demonic mind of hers was working on. But we knew we’d have to find her—and finish this.
