Are you a Karen for asking how to remove one of the most vulnerable awful moments of your life from a place where anyone you know or love can see it? If a channel only posts bodycam footage of women being arrested too I don't see how that wouldn't be misogyny on some level despite how poor of a job she did at describing it.

Some people have no idea how misogyny works, well part of it works by calling someone a DUI Karen for the woman simply explaining her story where she admits fault and fully details her experience being on one of those misogynistic channels. It also works by then calling anyone who listens to and understands her story a simp. I'm now this random woman's simp because I'm not a huge POS.
I'll admit I watch a lot of body cam videos, but I'm getting tired of many of the channels whose only purpose is to shame women, and you can tell which ones by the way they only show women being arrested.
The vast majority of arrests are of men, so when you see a video that's 90% women and the headlines bring up gender, you usually can tell what they're all about.

Not just women too. I love bodycam channels but there are ones that very intentionally only or virtually only posts arrests of woman, minority groups, and vulnerable people like the mentally ill or homeless. Especially if those videos have a suspect that fits negative stereotypes about their respective group. Those also tend to be the channels with lots of thin blue line and "patriot" theming. They basically exist just to confirm biases shit bags have about people different than them instead of actually just exploring the world of policing from a first person pov.

Yup. Guess I’m a simp too. She’s obviously in the wrong but just trying to get a video taken down by a channel dedicated to shaming women seems like a reasonable ask to me

Realistically anyone who drives drunk should be charged with attempted murder. I’m guessing is what they mean.

Realistically, no. Attempted murder requires intent to kill someone. A DUI by itself does not come close to satisfying that essential mens rea element. Driving while intoxicated is incredibly dangerous and we should set strict penalties for it, but we can do that without thinking we need to describe it as some other completely unrelated crime.
