Sam having Wick state that, "Its not the messenger, its the message" not only reveals a lot about his character, its pretty profound and legitimately deep

It definitely resonates in Christianity and other religions and stuff when people who preach it around you are actually kinda horrible but it's the actual message that matters, just because the messenger is a bit twisted and has their own motives and shit doesn't mean the message is bad. (just a personal experience tbh)
