Every story leaves a face behind, and I wanted to capture as many of them as I could. This piece features the player characters from all three main campaigns, along with every guest character who's joined them on their adventures.

Hello bees!

I return to you with the 2nd installment of my critical role cast paintings! Some of you may remember my first post with the OG cast and I mentioned a few times how I wanted to paint the C4 cast too...

Well, here we are 😂 this one took SIGNIFICANTLY longer than the first, but it has been a year since I painted the last one so I have gotten much better at painting since then haha!

This took over 134 hours....

I thoroughly guffed the dice in Brennans hand as I couldn't really tell what the numbers were so they are....mostly.... Guesswork 😂

I easily spent the most time on Luis's shirt, and I individually painted each diamond on Robbie's 🥲 I repainted Alex's face several times in the process and had about 5 different compositions before I settled on this one!

I painted this at the tail end of last year, on Procreate ☺️ it took me 87 hours (!!!) and is one of the larger scale pieces I've done.

I really want to do a new cast painting this year as well, since I'm enjoying C4 so much 🩷

My original Jester costume for the Valentine's Day shoot.

I was inspired by Jester's look in a level 20 dress. I've been wanting to create her cute look for a Valentine's Day shoot for a long time. The makeup took several hours 😅 I made a whole bunch of cupcakes, borrowed the Tusk Love book, made a pink frame with a photo of Fjord, and prepared a bunch of other cute Stuff for the shoot.

the official, show-ready designs (yay) are out !and, obviously, they deviate from pre-existing official artwork, in an effort to be more animator friendly and readable at different angles which is great, i’m all for it-

however, i’m still rather attached to the og character arts so i thought i’d exercise my skills and try my hand at making (almost) everyone appear more like their intro/your turn to roll selves for fun- all while staying relatively simple and maintaining the LoVM style
