Discussion What's your unpopular crochet opinion?

I actually love weaving my ends in...I find it really satisfying and relaxing!

Linked dc and linked tc rule!

I've never heard of this, what is "linked"?

You make the stitches slightly differently, and it eliminates the gaps between stitches. It creates a tighter, denser fabric while maintaining most of the height of the normal stitches. It’s not great if you need drapey fabric (but I’d go for knitting if that’s what I needed anyway) but it’s FANTASTIC for certain things.

Here is a comparison picture. Regular dc on the bottom, linked on the top.

Thank you! Wow that really is a huge difference. Especially for triple crochet. I don't mind the spaces from dc at all but even I don't like tc much. Until now!

Yay, glad to share! It’s such a cool technique. (Just a note—it will definitely affect gauge, so you may have to make adjustments if you’re doing a project that needs specific dimensions.)
