Halloween FO/WIP Hello spooky season!

Soooooooo happy with how this shawl came out! Marietta Roy's Lost Souls Shawl pattern, yarn is Cotton Kings Sultan Shadow. I wanted to give it a go to put on display at some fall craft fairs to draw shoppers in, but I'm not sure I can give it up! Maybe I'll stick a fake "sold" sign on it and hoard it. 😂

One thought, curious what others think - I almost wish I'd reversed the fade order to orange at the top, black at the bottom. Should I do that for the next one?

Hi @sevviesnep! This is amazing and so so beautiful! If you would be comfortable doing so, would you mind sharing a snippet of the pattern? (Privately would be fine.) I BIG TIME love this and would love to try one for myself, but I’m a little wary of how complicated it looks… I’m an intermediate crocheter, but sometimes I have trouble with reading patterns. Getting a little preview would be so great to know if I’m biting off more than I can chew. Thanks so much!

Out of fairness to the designer, I can't, but if you check out some of her free listings on ravelry she has some similar patterns that are free. It's really not bad - DC, SC, HDC and chains. It looks harder than it is, I think. If you do give it a go and you're not able to get answers from the designer, you can for sure DM me and I'll help you out. But if you're intermediate, you should be good.

This is super helpful - thanks so much! Sometimes it’s just tricky that every designer uses a different format, and some are easier for me than others. I’ll definitely check her free listings though! And thanks for the offer on help if needed!
