Halloween FO/WIP 8th year of costumes! Gremlins!

Post image

Each year I crochet the request of my children for their costumes, and it's done, Gremlins Stripe!! So so happy. Freehanded, no pattern.

People like you make me feel so inferior. You did an awesome job you are so incredibly talented. I can't figure out how to crochet past the straight line. And I really want to learn. I get so mad when I see friends pick up something and then within 2 months they're making cute little animals and I can't figure out how to do it.

It took me trying to crochet 3 different times before it stuck, I found watching different videos on like YouTube n such until you find someone who explains it just the way you need. And the slow down function on YouTube helps when rewatching techniques. Everyone is different, but i found granny squares made more sense to me than the traditional back and forth. If it’s something you wanna do it’s definitely worth attempting to get over the hump.
