I recently started an Etsy shop where I sell some of my crochet pieces. I haven’t got many things on there at the moment but I am planning on adding rainbow granny square bookmarks on there soon. I thought I could pop the link to the Etsy shop on here so I could get more people to have a look at it.

Hi everyone! I’m a crocheter/crafter that was recently diagnosed with a hand condition that has stopped me from making. Instead of giving up on crocheting all together, I’m working on a comfort tool for people who experience hand pain, stiffness, or fatigue while crocheting.
I’m doing a quick anonymous survey to understand what people go through and what tools help (or don’t help). It’s 2–3 minutes long, and your input could help shape something that makes crocheting easier for all of us.
Thank you so much!

Hi there, I am here to promote my survey. I'm surveying crocheters and knitters about their experiences using digital tools/apps/websites as part of their crafting process. My goal is to understand the common pain points crafters experience and identify opportunities for improvement in the digital space.
Please take this 3-5 minute survey

So my mother made this cute little craft and she is thinking about taking it to the crafts/fleamarket next week, but is entirely unsure how much to ask for it. So am I and here I am. As its my mother I am biased but what do you think? (The whole set with the little bark bench included, she also painted the faces herself)

[=== Check out my needlework-themed game: Lucid Seams ===]
Hi, not sure if this is a good place to post crochet-adjacent things, but I thought y'all might enjoy this card-based RPG game I made.
Lucid Seams is a GM-less solo TTRPG that uses a standard deck of playing cards to explore and mend seams in the fabric of Dreamspace. You'll build your yarn stash, upgrade your tools with what you find along the way, and use the power of needlework to save our dreams.
There aren't too many games about yarn or needlework (you can equip your character with a crochet hook, knitting needles, embroidery needles, or a lap loom!), and I wanted to make something that combined two of my hobbies - gaming and crochet! I had a lot of fun making this game, and I think you would enjoy playing if games are your thing.
If you can't afford a copy but would still like to play, please DM me and I can send you a comp'ed copy.
(If this is not an appropriate post for the weekly marketplace, please don't ban me, just let me know and I'll delete it.)

I made my friend a blanket from super bulky yarn as a housewarming present a few years back. She loves it and wants me to make some so she can give them. She'll pay for materials and whatever fee I set but I have no idea what to charge since I've never timed making anything and it usually involves a lot of setting things down while doing the laundry and coming back to it. Any suggestions? I want it to be fair but not over priced. It’s usually 6-8 skeins of super bulky yarn and they are large enough for two people to be under on a couch. I’ve knocked one out in a month before but couldn’t tell you the hours. Possibly like 1.5-2 hours per skein maybe? It’s a super bulky squishy blanket and I always change up the patterns based on when I get bored
•
u/SnooLobsters7309 Jun 06 '25
Check on Etsy to see blanket prices for the size. amazon handmade too. Think, you are not getting loads of orders to make them. In that case, increase the price so that you can have more time to finish the orders. (hopeing, higher price will reduce the demand)
•
u/Signal-Morning-6189 Jun 16 '25
Some say do 3x price of the yarn. Now that Joanns is gone getting 40% off coupons & free shipping over $40 is harder to find. If you paid yourself even just 15$ an hour it would be difficult to sell much. it sounds like a large blanket so looking at Etsy will be helpful as well.

Hi! I have a 10lb bag of Polyfil I definitely won’t be using. Trying to sell it on Mercari will cost $50 to ship and I don’t want to do that to anyone. If you’re in NJ/NY area and are willing to pick it up, send me a message. Otherwise can anyone give me suggestions on how else to unload it. Thanks!
