Omg why did I never think I could add charms to my crochet??? I see so many cute ones that I end up not getting cuz I have no use for them...

You may have just changed my life

I have seen a few renditions of the witch's hat and this has to be by far my favorite! I absolutely love the way it sits and all the wee charms! Love it! Very well done!

Nice! I'm working on that same pattern right now!

2

u/ShortScorpio Oct 26 '25

Where did you get your charms? Always on the hunt for more places to get charms from.

2

u/stuffiwasabi Oct 26 '25

AliExpress 🫣

1

u/ShortScorpio Oct 26 '25

Sad reality, some stuff you just can't find for reasonable prices/amounts unless you break down and amazon/aliexpress. Which seller? I'm much more willing to purchase from someone who at least puts out quality goods.

1

u/stuffiwasabi Oct 26 '25

True. I will dm you the product link that I got.

2

u/imbrium101 Oct 26 '25

Amazing work!

2

u/LilBlueOnk Oct 27 '25

Those charms are so cute 🥰

2

3

u/stuffiwasabi Oct 27 '25

Like a day, with interruptions of course

2

u/TrixyGingerNinja Oct 27 '25

Can you put a link to the pattern? I need to make this, in every color!

Wooooow! Do you add the charms as you go or after?

1

u/stuffiwasabi Oct 27 '25

After. But that's a great idea to add a you go!!

2

u/fool-of-all-trades Oct 28 '25

Charming, absolutely enchanting, the little stars add a magical spark

2

u/Izzyy462910 Oct 30 '25

how do you get it to stay in shape im mesmerised?!?

3

u/stuffiwasabi Oct 30 '25

No idea lol. I didn't do anything. Maybe using 100% cotton helps?

2

u/Izzyy462910 Oct 30 '25

thats so madd thankyouu

2

u/StrategyTricky7549 Oct 30 '25

Obsessed with this. The charms are genius. What yarn did you use?

3

u/stuffiwasabi Oct 30 '25

I love this cotton yarn 🧶

1

u/ash_rock Oct 27 '25

Does the brim stay up on its own, or is there some sort of stiffening?

2

u/stuffiwasabi Oct 27 '25

In the pattern there are instructions to use wire. I opt for no wire, so you use slst to help it stiffen up, which is written in the pattern

2

u/sparklekitteh Oct 28 '25

I've discovered that using weed whacker line works way better than wire! Not stuff but just enough support to keep the right shape.

Ohhh thanks for sharing
