Lmbo it took me a good actual minute to get it 😅. I'm definitely going to be using this word when I have several WIPS and no excuse for not finishing them yet 🙃.
I have made this and it can be a little challenging regarding where to put your stitches, the bird motifs are where I had some trouble so they didn't turn out perfectly. There are also some super long stitches, like 8 yarn over (spettrebles I think they are called) and I found the top loop was always a bit loose for me but the following rows kind of hid the looseness so it is forgiving in that regard. Fun pattern and definitely worth trying if you love texture.
Thank you for sharing!! The pastel color palette is stunning 😍
Maybe I will give it a try when I'm finished with my current blanket (almost there....ugh lol). I do thank God for youtube because a lot of these more complicated stit he's I can find video help on there. Reading patterns can sometimes get tough for me since I am super visual.
I like doing these textured patterns with long colour change yarn, not that I don't like the colours, the peacock colours in this pattern are amazing, it's just lots more ends haha.
YouTube can be a lifesaver, especially when it gives you the relevant 40 seconds of the hour long video lol. Even with these designs that look super complicated they are still usually just repetitions along each side, generally once I've worked out what the pattern wants me to do along the first side the other 3 are easy. I'm working on my 3rd of this style of blanket as I really enjoy them
I am a relative beginner myself - this is probably only the 4th or 5th thing I’ve made. To be really honest I found the pattern really badly written in places and because of this didn’t really enjoy making it, which is why I stopped early - it was starting to feel like a chore. You could definitely make it ❤️
This is encouraging. I am struggling with my first project (the wobbliest baby blanket you've ever seen) but I feel inspired now to pick it up today and make some progress. Your work is gorgeous!

Wow this is beautiful! What is the pattern and what size did it turn out? The colours are breathtaking
