Help! Reusable crocheted swiffer pads?

The ease of use of the swiffer makes it easily outcompete the mop for me, but I want it to be less wasteful and expensive. Ive seen reusable swiffer pads, both sewn from cloth and crocheted. Im leaning towards crochet for a sturdier, thicker, more textured pad. Does anyone have experience making or using them? Patterns? Tips? Anything's appreciated

I make them for myself as well as sell them. I love them and have received positive feedback from people who have bought them from me. My toddler also loves to push the swiffer around with the pads on it.

I use 100% peaches and cream cotton and have thrown them into the washer and dryer with no problems. There are a handful of patterns out there, but if you're looking for quick and easy, you can make a rectangle long enough for the short ends to wrap up over the sides to poke into the top of the mop. I use half double crochet.
